On behalf of the Maruti Educational Society, I extend hearty thanks to Sri. Challa Rambhupal Reddy for contributing One acre land to us on lease (without any remuneration). It helped us in providing spacious classrooms and quality education to our students.

The Little Birds School was established in 1988 by the MARUTHI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. It was recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1989 up to class VII. Classes VIII – X were introduced in the subsequent years. Now the School is recognized up to class X.

Our Day Starts with


The basic purpose of the school is to lead the children towards Truth and Light. Out Vision coupled with appropriate strategies for achieving the goals set. Adequate freedom is given to the learner to pursue any discipline of learning. So, that they are adequately equipped to adapt themselves to the highly competitive society of today. The school includes in its objectives, the aspirations of our country for a just and honest society and it regards education as the most effective means of promoting national development and integral development of the human personality. Thus the school prepares citizens and leaders for our country by inculcating in our youth the sense of responsibility. The medium of instruction in English, Hindi and Telugu are also compulsory. In our school, we give a lot of importance to spoken English. Above all we feel that with the helping hands to parents we can help in the overall development of the children.

“Learning through play” is our approach for all classes (From KG – X class). To make learning more enjoyable and absorbing, number of modern teaching and learning aids are provided. We are striving for equipping our school with the latest teaching aids and effective teaching techniques.

As we aim at integrated personality development of a child, our students are exposed to curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities such as out-door and indoor games, hobbies, fine arts like music, dance, drawing and painting etc. Craft classes are compulsory for both boys and girls. To inculcate patriotic spirit among the students, we teach National songs and celebrate National Festivals. Every child gets individual attention in reading, writing etc., Home work is given regularly and correction of the notebooks is done by the teachers sincerely.

The Academic Year commences in the first week of June and ends in the second week of April. The School session is divided into three terms. At the end of each term, there will be Summative Assessment & three Formative Assessments are conducted during the year. Assignments are conducted regularly.

Talent Tests:
It is a regular feature in our school to conduct talent tests conducted by Maths Olympiad Association, GK, Art of problem solving, Learnometer & Summative by X-SEED Central office, Delhi etc.

⦁    Monthly progress reports will be given to the parents for their information and attention.
⦁    A student who misses the examination cannot appear at a later date.
⦁    A minimum attendance of 75% will be required for promotion.
⦁    In matters of promotion and failure, the headmistress decision is final.


The School works in Two Sessions that is:
From 9:00 a.m – 12:30 p.m. and
From 1:10 p.m  – 4:00 p.m.
For High School:  
From 8:00 a.m  –  5:30 p.m.
On Saturdays: 
From 8:00 a.m  –  12:30 p.m.

School Uniform is Compulsory.

UniformFor Girls:
The Uniform consists of Red and White Small checks shirt and Maroon red skirt. Red and White small checks blouse and Maroon red skirts from Class VI – X. Belt, White ribbons, Navy blue socks and Black Shoes are compulsory for all.

Boys UniformFor Boys:

Red and White Small checks shirts and Maroon red shorts with a belt, from I – V Classes. Red and White small checks shirts and Maroon red shorts with a belt, from VI – X Classes.  Navy blue socks and Black Shoes.

On Wednesday:

All the students should come in complete white Uniform with White Shoes and socks.
